What it is

Dress-Up Party is a creativity game built around one gesture a two-year-old already has: the tap. A furry friend stands in the middle of the screen. Tap its head for a new hat, its eyes for glasses, its tummy for a top, its feet for shoes and its paw for a toy. Tap the background to change the scene from park to beach to circus. Tap the face to swap the animal. When the outfit is ready, the camera button flashes, the friend dances, and a polaroid appears with a silly name like Royal Bunny or Sporty Frog. A dice button makes a surprise outfit for children who just want to see what happens.

Tips for parents

Ask questions instead of directing: "What should Bunny wear to the beach?" The photo card is a natural stopping point, and the Share button on it lets a parent send the photo to a grandparent.

Questions parents ask

Is there dragging?
No. Drag-and-drop is hard for two-year-olds, so every change is a tap. Tapping the same spot cycles through the options.
Can we save the photo?
The polaroid stays on screen until you tap Dress up again. Use your device's screenshot to keep it, or the Share button to send the site to another parent.
How many outfits are there?
Six friends, six hats, three pairs of glasses, seven tops, five pairs of shoes, eight toys and six scenes. Thousands of combinations.
