Privacy policy
Tiny Hands Play is a free collection of games for children, made by one parent, Mauro Ferrante, in Sydney, Australia. The short version: there are no accounts, no ads and no tracking cookies, and your child's play stays on your device. The longer version is below.

What we don't collect
- No accounts. Nobody signs up, logs in or gives us a name to play.
- No ads and no ad trackers. There are no advertising networks, tracking pixels or social media trackers on the site.
- No cookies for tracking. The site does not set cookies to follow you around.
- Nothing from children. The games don't ask a child for any personal information, and there is no chat and no way to post anything.
What stays on your device
Some things are saved in your own browser so the games work the way you'd expect:
- game progress, best scores and settings (for example, which melodies are unlocked or which chalk surface you chose);
- drawings saved in Chalk Art, builds in Brick Builder and outfits in Dress-Up Party;
- a copy of the site's files, so the games still work with a poor connection.
This information never leaves your device and we can't see it. Clearing your browser's data for tinyhandsplay.com deletes it.
Visit statistics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count visits and see which games and buttons are used (for example, how many times a game was opened or a tip button was tapped). Umami does not use cookies and does not identify individual people. We see totals such as page views, the country a visit came from, the type of device and browser, and which site linked to us.
Services that help run the site
- Hosting (Vercel). The site is served by Vercel. Like any web server, it records technical information about requests, such as your IP address and browser, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Domain and email (Cloudflare). Cloudflare runs the domain name, and forwards email sent to hello@tinyhandsplay.com to Mauro's personal inbox.
- Fonts and pictures are served from tinyhandsplay.com itself, so loading the site doesn't contact Google or any other third party.
When you choose to contact or support us
These only happen if you, a grown-up, decide to use them:
- Tips (Stripe). The "Buy me a coffee" buttons open a payment page run by Stripe. Stripe processes the payment and keeps the card details; we never see your full card number. We receive what Stripe shares with every business it pays: your name, email, the amount, and basic card details such as the card type, country and last four digits. We keep these records only because payment and tax rules require it.
- Feedback form (Typeform). The feedback and "Request a game" links open a form run by Typeform. We see what you type in it.
- Email. If you write to hello@tinyhandsplay.com, we see your email address and message and use them only to reply.
- Sharing buttons. The WhatsApp and Facebook buttons are ordinary links: nothing is sent to those services unless you tap one, and then their own privacy policies apply.
We don't sell, rent or trade any of this information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Children
The games are made for children, and they're designed so a child never needs to give us anything. Tips, feedback and email are meant for parents and teachers. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you (for example, a tip record, an email or a feedback answer), and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@tinyhandsplay.com. Some payment records have to be kept for legal and tax reasons, but we'll tell you if that applies.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
